Gugulethu Mbatha (better known as Gugu-Mbatha-Raw) is a British film and stage actress that became popular after she appeared in the BBC series "Doctor Who", a British sci-fi TV show. Gugu earned a significant amount of fame by appearing as Tish Jones, the sister of the main character, Martha Jones, in the series. Gugu's audiences loved her bright enthusiasm. Chelsea Joy Handler is a New Jersey native born in Livingston on the 25th of February, 1975. She was the eldest of six children within her family. Handler lived in a family comprised of six children. Her mother was employed at home and her father sold cars used by other people. Her mother was the daughter of a German immigrant who came to her home in United States in 1958. Breast cancer was discovered in the year 1989. She died a decade following her battle with cancer. Handler was born into an Reform Judaism family. Her father was Jewish. Handler was raised in a lovely neighborhood and had a pleasant childhood. As a teenager She made the move from the city of Los Angeles, California to pursue a career in acting. Handler was an actor to earn a living for her family. Handler, who was then at the age of 21, decided to focus on stand-up comedy as a full-time occupation when she discovered her story telling skills. Handler started her stand-up career on her role on the Oxygen Network's Girls Behaving Poorly which was a reality program with a hidden-camera/practical comedy. The show was broadcast from 2002 to2005. Handler began appearing on different shows such including Weekends at D.L., The Bernie Mac Show, The Practice and My Wife and Kids. Handler was a part of The Tonight Show for a period of time as a correspondent. Her breakthrough occurred in 2006, when she began hosting her show on E! The Chelsea Handler Show. The show lasted for two seasons. Handler performed on the Comedy Central's Hour Stand-Up Comedy Tour the next year across the United States. VH1, Comedy Central Premium Blend as well as HBO have broadcast her stand-up performances. In 2010, she confirmed that she would host at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards. She became only the second woman to ever host VMAs after Roseanne Bar.
