Ayesha Takia Azmi is acting in Hindi films since the year 1986. Ayesha Azmi was awarded the Filmfare Best Debut Award 2004 for the starring role in Taarzan The Wonder Car. It also marked her debut as an actor. The actress then appeared in films that were a hit, such as Paathshaala (2010) Wanted (2009) Salaam-E-Ishq (2007) and Socha Na Tha (2010). Her first cameo appeared in an advertisement for Complan, a well-known healthy drink. Shahid Kapoor and she were featured in the famous commercial "I'm Complan girl, I'm Complan boy". Her appearance in the remixed song Nahin Nahin Abhi Nahin was equally notable. Thanks to the success of this song, she rose to prominence in the Indian remix era.
