Alison Doody

Alison Doody has been an Irish model and actor since November 11, 1996. Alison Doody made her feature film debut as an actress and Bond actress with the film A View to a Kill, (1985). Then she appeared as a character in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade in 1989. Doody portrayed Nazi sympathizing archaeologist Elsa Schneider. Siobhan Donevan is in A Prayer for the Dying (1997), Charlotte Taffin (1988) as well as Rebecca Flannery Major League II (1994) also play roles. Doody became a model after the opportunity was offered by a hopeful photographer. She has since transformed into commercial modeling. Doody did not shy away from glamour or sexually explicit work. This was a policy was extended to her acting career. After being noticed by the casting directors of a James Bond new film, Doody was cast in a minor portion of Jenny Flex as in A View to a Kill. Doody was a voice actor in the 1987 TV adaptation of The Secret Garden appearing as Archibald Craven's wife Lilias in his dream. The Storyteller episode from 1988 included her in the leading part of Sapsorrow as well as John Hurt Dawn French Jennifer Saunders. She played opposite Pierce Brosnan, in the 1988 film Taffin. In the following film, she played her most memorable role to date as Austrian Nazisympathiser and Archaeologist Doctor. Elsa Schneider playing alongside Harrison Ford. Doody acted alongside Sean Connery, who played Indy's father. Doody co-starred in 1991 with Jonathan Pryce opposite the British miniseries Selling Hitler, which was in the spirit of a publication scam called The Hitler Diaries. Later, she relocated to Hollywood. The actress later became Flannery Charlie Sheen's agent, as well as girlfriend on the set of Major League II. She was selected as an alternative to Cybill Shepherd, who had been L'Oreal's spokesperson. After nearly a decade from the screen Doody came back to acting, by playing a minor role in the 2003's British comedy film The Actors with Michael Caine playing herself in an event scene for the award ceremony. Doody was a co-star, along alongside Patrick Swayze, in the 2004 TV film version to King Solomon's Mines. Doody filmed a role in Danny Dyer's 2010 film The Rapture. Later, she appeared as a guest in the medical drama of RTE The Clinic and was set to be the lead actress in a remake of the classic horror film The Asphyx but the project was later put on hold. Pam Jefferson, the character she played on E4's comedy Beaver Falls during its first season, which ran for two years. She also starred as Pam Jefferson on We Still Kill the Old Way. In November of 2018, she was honored by the Almeria the tierra de cine prize and she received an award in the Almeria Walk of Fame.
